For apparel e-commerce, warehouse space is the constraint. Adding building area is expensive. The alternative is narrower aisles.
MiMA MC12 is a stand-on 3-way pallet stacker built for 1.65m ultra-narrow aisles – down from typical 2.8m of a reach truck. In a 5000m² facility, that switch reclaims 25–30% more rack positions without expanding the building.
The all-electric fork head rotates 180° and side-shifts left/right. The operator never turns the truck body inside the aisle. Magnetic guidance keeps the truck straight, so the driver focuses only on fork position and lift height.
Rated load is 1.2 tons, lift height 8.5 meters. The high-strength mast avoids sway at full extension – critical for high-density pallet storage. A camera display provides clear view of fork tips at height. The stand-on platform reduces step-on/step-off time compared to sit-down models.
Who needs MiMA MC12? Apparel operations with over 3000 SKUs, picking above 6 meters, and aisle widths currently over 2.5 meters. Narrowing aisles from 2.8m to 1.65m typically pays for the truck within 12–18 months from additional rack positions.
MC12 does not promise a revolution. It delivers one thing: more pallet positions per square meter, without adding building space.
